The unmother searches Inu Yasha’s mind for the location of Fathers tomb Jaken yells at her and tells her to hurry up regardless of what happens to the hanyou. Myoga arrives and revives Kagome with a bite. Kagome sneaks up behind Jaken and yanks the staff of the skulls away from him. She whacks him away and runs to help Inu Yasha. Kagome is able to brake the unmothers spell on Inu Yasha and he breaks free.
Sesshomaru arrives and attacks Inu Yasha for his black pearl, the door to father’s tomb hidden in Inu Yasha’s right eye. He uses the pearl and the staff to open the portal to the tomb. He and Jaken proceed through. Kagome and Inu Yasha follow.
Inside the tomb Sesshomaru tries to draw father’s sword, The Tetsusaiga. The sword repels him with some sort of spell. Inu Yasha and Kagome arrive and Inu Yasha and Sesshomaru continue to fight. Inu Yasha tries to pull out the sword, but he can’t do it either. As Sesshomaru and Inu Yasha fight, Kagome struggles with Jaken. He throws her aside and she lands near the Tetsusaiga. She puts her hand on Tetsusaiga to stand up. Sesshomaru has Inu Yasha and is ready to kill him. Kagome rushes forward, pulling the sword with her. Tetsusaiga is pulled free by a very puzzled Kagome. The fight stops immediately and all eyes are on the human girl.
